Jakarta: The Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenpora RI) succeeded in winning the Indonesian World Records Museum (MURI) record after holding the First 4-Sided Video Mapping Show at the National Monument at the Peak of the 95th Youth Pledge Day (HSP) Commemoration in 2023, 28 October .

Sesmenpora Gunawan Suswantoro, who represented Menpora Dito, received the MURI award and plaque, hoping that the achievements achieved would be an injection of motivation for the younger generation to develop their abilities and talents in various fields of life.

“Today, thank God, the Ministry of Youth and Sports received an extraordinary award. And this is the only and first time in Indonesia that it has won the MURI Record award for the design of the first 4 (four) sided video mapping at the National Monument,” said Sesmenpora at the Media Center of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Office, Senayan , Jakarta, Thursday (2/11).

“We also hope that this record will inspire young people who have hobbies, talents and abilities in video mapping as well as creativity in other fields, and can become enthusiastic to develop further,” he added.

Sesmenpora assessed that this achievement was a historical milestone, especially for the young Mas Menpora and the Ministry of Youth and Sports in general. The record achieved was a collaboration between the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the vendor PT Argo Visual who were able to design several youth events to truly feel the feeling of youth.

Sesmenpora feels grateful that the 2023 HSP commemoration can take place with a youthful feel and four-sided video mapping is a differentiator. At the same time, the Ministry of Youth and Sports is carrying out Youth Month as proof that the Ministry of Youth and Sports is here for young people.

“Thank God, this year the Ministry of Youth and Sports was able to truly present Youth Pledge Day for young people to enjoy and even the Ministry of Youth and Sports held Youth Month for one month. This is proof that the Ministry of Youth and Sports is here for young people. It’s time for young people to exist in their own country,” explained Sesmenpora.

“I hope this achievement can be maintained as a world record. Later we will check it so that it can be raised to a world record so that the nation’s young people will be truly proud,” he concluded.

MURI Deputy Main Director Osmar Semesta Susilo said, MURI expressed its appreciation to the Indonesian Ministry of Youth and Sports for the First 4 (four) Side Video Mapping Show at the National Monument at the Peak of the 95th Youth Pledge Day (HSP) Commemoration in 2023.

“Today, MURI will proudly award the record for Video Mapping of the First 4 (four) Sides of the National Monument and hand it over to the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia,” said Osmar.

“MURI as the first and oldest record keeping institution in Indonesia can be a partner of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. This is because MURI has recorded more than 11 thousand records and these records are included in the youth and sports categories in various fields,” he said.

According to him, the MURI record for Video Mapping the First 4 (four) Sides of the National Monument by the Ministry of Youth and Sports has also been named a world record. The reason is, no one else in other countries makes four-sided video mapping of national monuments.

“You can see in the plaque, sir, that we have crowned this as a world record. Because, there are no more national monuments in other countries that have mapping on four sides, the only one in Indonesia and the only one in the world. Congratulations to the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the vendors, ” he explained.

Meanwhile, the Managing Director of PT Argo Omega Prima (PT Argo Visual) Alvin Antono, as the implementer of the first 4-sided video mapping, expressed his thanks to the Ministry of Youth and Sports for entrusting the big HSP event to him.

“We convey many thanks to the Ministry of Youth and Sports. I shared this first idea with the Menpora’s Expert Staff and then the Minister gave me trust and facilitated it so that everything could happen well and smoothly and to all parties who had helped,” he said.

Also present were Expert Staff for Central and Regional Relations Dwijayanto Sarosa Putera, Expert Staff for Legal Affairs Samsudin, Assistant Deputy for Youth Leadership Subroto, Head of Public Relations and Public Relations Bureau Triyono and several other officials within the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
